Atlas Ocean Voyages has confirmed today (21 January) that it is building its first-ever luxury expedition sailing yacht, Atlas Adventurer, which will launch in late 2028.
With space for up to 400 guests and 275 crew, the yacht will sail to destinations in Asia, including Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and Africa, including Seychelles, Madagascar, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique and South Africa.
The line is promising that the Atlas-class yacht will offer a ‘significantly expanded onboard experience’, including all-suite accommodation, increased space and amenities, and a broader range of dining, wellness, and social offerings.
It will have seven dining venues, including specialty restaurants and a new culinary studio for hands-on learning and destination-inspired programming.
There will also be five lounges and cocktail bar social spaces, along with two outdoor bars.
Additionally, the yacht will have an expanded fitness and wellness centre, a large swimming pool, and purpose-built expedition capabilities, including Zodiacs, luxury motorboats, and a marina platform with an ocean pool for water-based exploration.
