Loveholidays reveals where clients are booking in 2025

Loveholidays has revealed its 2025 travel trends, which show big hikes in long-haul bookings, solo holidays and emerging destinations such as Romania and Albania.

Long-haul bookings have risen by 34% year-on-year, with the biggest uplift to Santa Maria in Cape Verde, which has increased by 109% year-on-year. Bookings to Cancun and Las Vegas have risen by 70% and 44%, respectively. 

While getaways to the Canary Islands, Greek Islands, mainland Spain and Turkey remain firm favourites in 2025, British holidaymakers are showing interest in other, emerging destinations. 

According to loveholidays, UK holidaymakers are looking to destinations like Romania and Albania, which have seen bookings rise 692% and 416%, respectively. 

Year-on-year interest in Thailand has risen by 101%, while Poland saw a rise of 59%. Tunisia and Morocco rose by 45% and 30%, respectively. 

City breaks are another growing trend for 2025, with January bookings up by 51% year-on-year. 

Travel in the shoulder season also continues to grow, with 26% more departures planned between March and May in 2025 compared to June to August. 

Bookings for solo travellers have increased by 43% year-on-year.
