Lloyd Cross to join TTNG as part of management shakeup

Former Jet2holidays’ former General Manager Lloyd Cross is joining agency consortium The Travel Network Group as Chief Commercial Officer.

He will replace Vim Vithaldas, who is moving into the role of Chief Strategy Officer and stepping back from day-to-day commercial responsibilities to focus on the group’s long-term growth plans.

At the same time,  Cruise Director John Wilson has left TTNG, with the consortium saying that his role has ‘concluded’ as cruise has become ‘more fully integrated’ into the wider commercial function.

Lloyd left Jet2holidays to become European Agency Sales Director at Gulf Air Holidays last September. In his new role at TTNG he will work closely with the commercial leadership team, including Commercial Director Katharina Peck.

CEO Gary Lewis said: “These changes reflect how our business is evolving and how we continue to bring our strengths together to deliver for our members and business partners.

“Vim has played an important role in shaping the business over many years and in his new role as Chief Strategy Officer, will continue to support the Group’s long-term strategic direction and growth ambitions.

“With Lloyd joining us, and with the strength of the team already in place, we are well-positioned for what comes next.

“And as we move into this next phase, I would like to thank John for his contribution during his time with us. He has supported the continued development of our cruise proposition, and we are grateful for the role he has played in our journey.”
