Kuoni will take agents on ‘small, boutique’ fam trips to Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Thailand this year as part of a new training programme unveiled this week.
One trip to Sri Lanka departs next week and there are two more planned this year for the Maldives and one to Thailand.
Kuoni is hosting five to eight agents on each trip, with places on the Maldives and Thailand fams yet to be allocated.
A spokesperson said the trips were aimed at agents it is building relationships with and for those where it sees growth opportunities.
In addition, Kuoni is launching new training events throughout the UK including ‘Kuoni Introducing’, designed to highlight its range and service, plus its exclusive resorts.
Hosted by Trade Engagement Executive Matt Sole, they will take place at 18 locations throughout the UK.
Other new events are Kuoni’s ‘Passport to’, which it describes as ‘a deep dive’ into a specific destination, such as Africa, the Indian Ocean and the Far East.
