Kuoni is extending its out-of-date range (ODR) pricing with selected airlines to more countries, including North America.
It said this will help travel agents to secure early bookings for their clients, especially from families who want to lock down prices to popular resorts during the school holidays, or those travelling for special occasions or during peak times such as Christmas and Easter.
The move follows Gold Medal’s decision in January to offer out-of-date range pricing on packages to both Florida and New York.
Kuoni is offering Florida, Canada and Mauritius prices guaranteed until October 2027 and the Caribbean, Asia, Africa and the Indian Ocean guaranteed up to April 2027, including the Easter peak period.
Head of Trade Partnerships Sarah Weetman said: “We get feedback from partners that early booking requests are a challenge due to flight pricing not available, so I am sure that this flexible approach from us will be welcomed.
“By extending how far out we can now guarantee pricing, it will give our trade partners the support they need to handle these enquiries with more confidence that the prices won’t go up in six months when the flights are released, and they will have to handle a difficult conversation with their customers.
“The range of destinations and airlines that we can guarantee this on is industry-leading.”
Sarah said Kuoni was ‘ready to support trade partners with enquiries beyond what the airlines currently have on sale’.
