TUI Group has appointed Johan Lundgren to its Supervisory Board.
Johan began his tourism career in 1986 at 1986 at Fritidsresor, which is now part of TUI Nordic.
More recently, he was Deputy Group CEO, from 2011 to 2015.
He became CEO of easyJet in 2017 and stepped down in 2024. He replaces Pepijn Rijvers on the Board.
Supervisory Board Chairman Dr Dieter Zetsche said: “I would like to thank Pepijn Rijvers for the short but good cooperation and wish him all the best for the future.
“We are delighted that we have Johan Lundgren, an exceptionally experienced international tourism manager who knows the sector and TUI very well, to succeed him on the Supervisory Board.
“After 10 years, he is now returning to TUI as a member of the Supervisory Board. We are very much looking forward to working with him.”
