Jet2holidays has ranked fourth in the July UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI), while Hays Travel has ranked seventh.
The UKCSI, launched in 2008 and published twice a year by The Institute of Customer Service, measures customer satisfaction across 277 organisations in 13 sectors.
It scores them on customers’ responses to 25 measures covering transactional experiences and broader aspects of their relationships with organisations.
The independent survey, based on more than 59,500 customer responses, ranked Jet2holidays in fourth place with a score of 85.7, up 1.4 points from its July 2025 score of 84.3 (12th place), but down from its January 2026 score of 85.8 (fifth place).
Its in-house airline Jet2 was placed 14th, with a score of 83.8.
Hays Travel ranked seventh with a score of 84.9, down from its January 2026 score of 86.2, which placed it third. It was not ranked last year.
Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said: “The UKCSI provides fantastic insight into how our customers feel, so we are delighted to once again be delivering industry-leading levels of customer service and to be recognised as the best airline and tour operator for customer satisfaction.
“Jet2 colleagues across the business work tirelessly to provide unrivalled customer service and this year’s report, as well as the high number of customers who continue to book with Jet2, is testimony to the hard work and enormous amount of effort our teams contribute.”
Hays Travel owner and Chair Irene Hays said: “Our customers are at the very heart of our business, and we are delighted to be listed in the top ten for satisfaction alongside so many household names.
“We pride ourselves on the friendly approach, backed by expertise and personal service, that our customers know they can trust. I’m very proud of all our people for everything they do to achieve this.
“As the Institute of Customer Service report shows, businesses must evolve to stay ahead of customer expectations, which is why we continue to invest in our people, customers and communities through training, technology, retail branch upgrades and charitable support.”
