Jet2 has confirmed it is removing two routes from East Midlands – to Costa de Almeria and Split – from its summer 2026 programme.
Additionally, the airline has pushed back its East Midlands-Agadir service until next winter.
Jet2 said: “As a successful business, we are constantly reviewing our flying programme in response to demand. While this gives us the ability to add more award-winning flights and holidays, we may also very occasionally withdraw flights.
“Following a recent review of our flying programme from East Midlands Airport, we are making some adjustments and have taken the decision to withdraw services to Costa de Almeria and Split for summer 2026. In addition, our services to Agadir will now commence in winter 26/27. We are contacting independent travel agent partners who have made bookings to these destinations to let them know.
“We are still offering independent travel agents huge choice when it comes to booking holidays in winter 25/26, summer 2026 and beyond from East Midlands Airport.”
