Jet2 has put its first winter sun programme on sale from Luton airport, for departures in 2025/26.
It is offering eight destinations from the Bedforshire airport, offering flights and packages to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Alicante, Antalya, Faro and Madeira.
It will have more than 140,000 seats from Luton during its first winter of operations, when it will operate up to 19 flights a week.
CEO Steve Heapy said Jet2 had received a ‘phenomenal response’ to its arrival at Luton, from where it will start flying on 1 April 2025.
“We are delighted at how well the announcement has been received by customers, independent travel agents and the whole community,” he added.
“We have seen strong demand for our award-winning flights and holidays, so we are very pleased to be giving people even more choice by putting our first ever winter sun programme on sale from the new airport base for winter 25/26 too.”
