Jet2 launches winter 2027/28 ski programme with new Glasgow–Geneva route

Jet2 has launched its winter 2027/28 ski programme, with flights now on sale including a new service from Glasgow to Geneva.

The airline will operate weekly Saturday flights from Glasgow Airport to Geneva from mid-December 2027 throughout the winter season, giving access to major French and Swiss resorts including Tignes, Verbier, the Three Valleys and Zermatt.

Across the programme, Jet2 will offer almost 470,000 seats and 43 routes from 12 UK airports to eight ski gateways: Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Innsbruck, Lyon, Salzburg, Turin and Verona.

Flights will run from December 2027 through the winter season, with options for weekend and midweek as well as longer stays.

Geneva will see the largest programme, with services from 11 UK airports including Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle.

Frequency includes up to seven weekly services from Leeds Bradford and Stansted, up to six from Manchester and up to four from Birmingham and Gatwick.

Chambery will be served from eight UK airports, Salzburg from seven, Innsbruck from five and Grenoble from five, with up to three weekly departures from some bases.

Turin will be served from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Gatwick and Manchester, while Verona will operate from Manchester and Edinburgh, offering access to the Dolomites. Weekly services to Lyon will run from Manchester.

Jet2 said the programme has been brought on sale early in response to continued demand for ski holidays.

CEO Steve Heapy said: “We enjoyed another fantastic ski season last winter, and with skiers and snowboarders already looking ahead to winter 2027/28, we have responded by launching another exciting ski programme for next winter.

“With perfectly timed flights at the most popular times and a range of ski destinations to choose from, we are certain next year’s ski programme will be our best yet.”

Jonathan Ford, Portfolio Manager at Glasgow Airport owner AGS Airports added: “The launch of Jet2’s winter 2027/28 ski programme from Glasgow Airport is fantastic news for Scotland’s ski and snowboard enthusiasts.

“With direct access to Geneva and the outstanding resorts of the French and Swiss Alps, customers can start planning their winter getaways well in advance.

“We are pleased to continue growing our successful partnership with Jet2 and look forward to welcoming passengers travelling on these popular services.”
