Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added flights from Birmingham to the Greek island of Samos for summer 2026.
The airline and tour operator originally announced it would be launching the programme to Samos in April, with flights from Manchester and London Stansted.
The new route from Birmingham adds an extra 10,000 seats to the destination, with a weekly Monday service from the airport between May and October 2026.
CEO Steve Heapy said: “The launch of Samos from Manchester and London Stansted Airports has been well received by customers and independent travel agents, so we have responded to that and are delighted to be expanding the programme today.
“The introduction of flights and holidays to the beautiful Greek hotspot from Birmingham Airport means we are now giving customers in the Midlands the chance to enjoy an authentic slice of Greece.
“We are very pleased to be expanding our operation to Samos just a month after launching it and giving even more customers to chance to reach this idyllic island next summer. We are confident that the addition of the Greek destination to our flying programme from Birmingham Airport will prove popular with customers looking for an off the beaten track style holiday.”
