Jet.com and Jet2holidays are launching flights and holidays to Chania in Crete from East Midlands Airport for summer 2026.
Weekly Tuesday flights will start operating on 26 May 2026 until 27 October 2026.
Jet2 already operates flights to nine other Greek destinations from East Midlands Airport, including Corfu, Heraklion (Crete), Kefalonia, Kos, Preveza, Rhodes, Skiathos, Thessaloniki and Zante.
In total, Jet2 will have 43 destinations on sale from East Midlands Airport for summer 2026. They include Agadir, Costa de Almeria, Pula, Preveza, Thessaloniki and Split, which are also new for next year and have already been announced.
Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said: “Next summer will be our biggest ever programme from East Midlands Airport. We are delighted to be offering the chance for customers and independent travel agents in the region to explore this beautiful area of Crete for the very first time.”
