InteleTravel has expanded its UK head office team, promoting Office Manager Geraldine Nolan to Director, Partner Relations and hiring two more people.
Barbro Kurkov, previously with payment solutions company Privalgo, has taken up the new role of Marketing Communications Executive, reporting to Geraldine.
Graduate Pearl Vora has joined as Finance Executive Support, reporting to Head of Finance Chris Walsh.
InteleTravel has also expanded its team in the Republic of Ireland, appointing Ann-Marie Durkin, whose most recent role was as Development Manager Holiday Experts, to the new position of country manager, reporting to UK and Ireland Managing Director Tricia Handley-Hughes.
The expansion of the UK teams follows InteleTravel’s best-ever trading month in October, when it said its sales were up 95%, transactions up 86% and agent commissions up 138%, compared with the same month last year.
For the year to date, it said sales are up 66% and average booking values are up 5% compared with the equivalent period in 2023.
“Our growth over the last five years has been beyond expectation, so the time is right to review the current structure,” said Tricia. “This expansion will help us achieve our 2025 vision and deliver our new training, recognition and reward programmes.”
