Independent travel agent Adele Land is set to share her expertise with viewers of A Place in the Sun after filming an episode of the popular Channel 4 property show in Spain.
Adele, founder of Adelpha Travel and a member of The Travel Network Group, appeared as the local expert for Mojácar on the Costa de Almería when the show was filmed last month.
Having lived in Mojácar for 25 years, Adele was invited by producers to offer insight into life in the coastal Spanish town, where she is also the only expat councillor on the local council.
Adele told Travel Gossip, producers asked her about settling into life in Spain, making friends and learning the language.
It’s the second time she’s been featured on the show, having appeared as a property expert around 14 years ago.

Adele spent 20 years working as an overseas resort manager and 10 years as long-haul cabin crew for British Airways before launching Adelpha Travel in 2024.
She believes the TV appearance will benefit both her travel business and her husband’s real estate company, which sells properties in the area.
“Both businesses will appear in the credits, and Mojácar is such a small town that people know my husband and me,” she said. “Within the real estate community, it is considered a privilege to participate in the show as they film here regularly.
“It’s nice to be recognised, and hopefully it will help me grow my UK client base.”
She added: “I wouldn’t say I love being in front of the camera, but you start to settle into it. You have to try not to remember that you’re on camera, so you can relax a little bit.
“I’ll be watching it, probably with a very strong drink, cringing as I go,” she said. “I don’t know many people who like to listen to themselves or see themselves on television, unless that’s your job.”
The episode featuring Adele will air in spring 2027.
