Garstang Travel founder Nicole Eaves has sold the agency to Althams Travel.
The Lancashire agency, which Nicole set up 42 years ago, will continue to trade as Garstang Travel, as part of the Althams Travel Group. All nine members of staff will remain.
Nicole will be involved during the transition period to ensure a smooth handover, before retiring.
She said, “After 42 incredible years, it’s the right time to sell. I leave knowing the business is in great hands. I’m excited we’re now part the Althams family, headed up by Sandra McAllister. Their focus on people and passion for travel means my great team and our wonderful clients will be in the very best hands.
“I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented and committed individuals you could ever hope for. Their passion, work ethics and genuine care for our customers have been nothing short of inspiring. They are the true stars of the business, many of whom have been with me for decades.”
