Hoseasons is reporting a sharp rise in advance bookings for 2026, saying increasing numbers of customers are locking in a UK break early.
Last month, 2026 bookings for lodges and parks were up 13% compared to the same month last year for 2025 holidays. Easter bookings are up 41% and summer bookings up 29%.
Travel agent sales for 2026 were up 54% last month compared to July 2024 for 2025 arrivals.
Hoseasons added 2025 Christmas and October half term sales are up 13% and 5% respectively.
General Manager Gemma Brown said more people want to guarantee their first choice break next year or give themselves as much time as possible to manage costs.
She said: “Lates always grab the headlines at this time of year, and that’s always going to be the case, but what we’re seeing is a growing mindset among customers determined to get the specific, special property they want next year, especially if they’re looking to spread their payments out over a longer period.
“Our low deposit offer allowing customers to book now for just £25 has given them the financial flexibility they need to commit and been a key driver in turning lookers into bookers.”
Brown believes renewed enthusiasm for locking in early ties in with a growing appetite for ‘holiday snacking’ where people go on more frequent, shorter breaks throughout the year, rather than having one long summer holiday.
At the end of April, Hoseasons reported the busiest Easter in its 80-year history, with on-park arrivals up 8% on last year and bookings through the trade up 18%.
Gemma said the increase in bookings was largely down to the hard work of travel agents offering Hoseasons breaks to those no longer able to holiday in Lanzarote as planned after the Spanish island was hit by floods.
