ABTA has named Michael Budge as its new Director of Finance, from 1 December 2025.
He replaces Flic Jefferis-Boyd, and will report directly to ABTA Chief Executive Mark Tanzer.
Currently, Michael is Head of ATOL at the Civil Aviation Authority, where he has worked since 2012.
Mark said: “Michael is well known by many in the UK travel sector and has a compelling track record in travel finance. He will bring much to ABTA in his new role with us, helping to ensure that we deliver for our members.”
Michael added: “I’m delighted to be appointed Director of Finance at ABTA and to soon be joining an organisation that plays a pivotal role in shaping our travel sector.
