Govt issues updated safety advice for Brits travelling to Israel

The Foreign Office has updated advice for Brits travelling to Israel, urging extra care on and near public transport.

The FCDO said: “There have been a number of violent incidents including terrorist attacks on public transport and near public transport lines in Jerusalem.

“Take extra care when using public transport in Jerusalem.”

The FCDO has issued similar advice for Tel Aviv, saying: “Take extra care when using public transport in Tel Aviv, in particular at transport hubs, and when using buses in the greater Tel Aviv area.

“You may wish to consider using other forms of transport.”

In August, the FCDO issued a new warning over the increased risk of terrorist attacks.
