Gold Medal will keep its call centre open on Sundays, with staff available between 11am and 3pm.
The call centre has been open on Sundays since the beginning of the year, initially to support agents during Peaks in January and February.
Gold Medal said while call volumes ‘remain high’, Sunday call centre hours will continue until further notice.
Trading Director Simon Owen said: “We want to remain available to our agents whenever they need us and, looking at the number of calls and enquiries we have received over the weekends since the start of the year, it is apparent that agents are keen to utilise our services on Sundays.
“We know that our agents’ working hours vary from the conventional, and many are still working hard securing bookings and dealing with queries throughout evenings and weekends; we want to ensure they have as much support and expertise from our teams as possible throughout these times to help them secure bookings and, of course, to make their life just that little bit easier.”
The rest of the week, Gold Medal and sister brands Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys’ call centres are open between 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday.
Agents can also go to the Service Hub on the brands’ website for out-of-hours support such as amending enquiries and requesting cancellations.
