G Adventures has announced its 2027 GX Summit will take place in Brazil.
The summit will return to South America for its fifth year, following its inaugural event in Peru’s Sacred Valley in 2021.
Other details, such as exact dates and locations, are yet to be revealed, but the main day of its conference, the World Community Tourism Summit, is always held on World Tourism Day, on 27 September.
G Adventures Founder Bruce Poon Tip announced the next location to delegates – including 16 UK agents and trade media – at the Sokha Convention Center in Siem Reap, Cambodia yesterday at the closing of GX 2026.
He said: “There really is something very special about what happens when our global community comes together to change perceptions, raise awareness and ultimately drive demand for destinations and communities that need it most. GX is a perfect example of communityship in action.
“Our agents, suppliers, staff, media, content creator friends and travellers all come together to celebrate, learn and see first-hand the power of tourism done right.”
