Fred Olsen breaks sales record on day it launches inclusive fares

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has recorded its best sales day in history, coinciding with the launch of its latest programme and new inclusive pricing.

The cruise line unveiled more than 30 new voyages for its autumn/winter 2026 on Tuesday 18 March, as well as a revised pricing strategy that includes full board dining, selected drinks at lunch and dinner, gratuities and guided social strolls, among other benefits, in the upfront cruise fare.

Sales jumped 7% on the day of launch, compared to its previous best-performing day, which was before the pandemic.

Among the most popular itineraries were the cruise line’s Fleet Fiesta sailings, which will see Fred. Olsen’s three smaller-sized ships come together for a celebration in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, next December, as well as the Captain’s Mystery Cruise.

Head of Sales Geoff Ridgeon said: “This day of record-breaking sales is testament to all of the hard-work and commitment of our teams here at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to deliver a package and product that is of real value to our guests.

“Not only have our teams curated an exceptional programme of sailing for autumn/winter 2026, but we have listened to feedback, from both our guests and agents, to make our pricing simper, clearer and more inclusive, to offer better value for money than ever.

“I’d like to thank our trade partners for really getting behind this launch and for making it such a great success. We look forward to welcoming your customers on-board for an exciting programme of sailing in 2026 and beyond.”

The cruise line also launched a Premium Drinks Package as an optional upgrade. All guests who have already booked a drinks package for 2026 will be upgraded at no extra cost.
