The Foreign Office is warning travellers to Thailand that low-cost carrier Nok Air’s international flights have been temporarily grounded.
In an update issued on 9 October, the Foreign Office said the carrier has been suspended from operating international flights by Thailand’s Civil Aviation Authority.
It said the decision was made due to safety concerns.
However, the airline is still operating domestically within Thailand.
It has flights from Bangkok to several popular beach destinations, including Phuket, Krabi and Trang, as well as to cities in the north of the country.
Nok previously operated flights from Bangkok to China and India.
