First Class Holidays expands into India

First Class Holidays has added India to its long-haul portfolio and plans to include South and Central America later.

Its new long-haul programme, which officially launches on 20 October, also includes Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives.

The 120-page brochure features seven escorted tours, 10 private guided itineraries, two rail journeys, two river cruises and four tiger reserves.

To mark the launch, First Class Holidays hosted a preview event for key trade partners in Manchester.

CEO Daniel Gathercole said: “India is a destination like no other, rich in history, culture and diversity. Our ‘Introducing India’ event was designed to bring the destination to life for our partners, and we’re very happy with the response.”

Head of Product Lorna Curry added: “We’ve worked closely with our ground partner to ensure the same high standards of service and expertise our agents expect. Having experienced their operations first-hand, we’re confident agents can sell India with us knowing their clients will be well looked after.”
