Ethiopian Airlines will increase its frequency between Manchester and Addis Ababa to offer a daily service from 3 July.
The airline said the two additional weekly departures will allow passengers to connect to more flights across Africa and the Indian Ocean, including Zanzibar, Mombasa and the Seychelles.
It said it will also offer ‘seamless’ connections to safari destinations such as Nairobi, Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam, Botswana, Victoria Falls, Johannesburg, Lusaka, and Cape Town.
Ethiopian’s flights are operated by an Airbus A350, with a touchdown in Geneva for an hour. The additional flights will operate via Geneva or Marseille.
