Emerald Cruises expands fleet with two new superyachts and another river ship

Emerald Cruises will add two new superyachts and a new European river ship to its fleet for 2027.

The new superyachts, Emerald Raiya and Emerald Xara, will each be able to accommodate 128 guests.

Both ships will have a Sky Deck with private cabanas, a swim-up marina platform, an open-air fitness area, multiple dining venues and a collection of water toys, including paddleboards and SeaBobs.

Emerald Raiya will make its debut in the Seychelles in winter 2026/27, before sailing the eastern Mediterranean in Summer 2027.

Emerald Xara will launch in the Mediterranean in summer 2027, before heading to the Caribbean for the winter.

Scenic Group Chairman and founder Glen Moroney, said: “This is a transformational moment for Emerald Cruises. From our first yachts to today’s growing fleet, our vision remains clear: to deliver curated experiences in some of the world’s most captivating destinations – both by ocean and river.”

In 2027, Emerald Cruises will sail on the Seine for the first time with the Emerald Lumi, offering round-trip voyages from Paris.

Glen added: “The Seine is a natural evolution for Emerald Cruises. It’s a river rich in romance, history, and culinary heritage – everything our guests love.

“We’re excited to bring our distinctive Emerald Cruises experience to France with this beautifully designed ship.”
