Crystal has changed its commission policy, so agents will now get their payments at least 20 days earlier.
Commission will now be awarded once a booking is paid in full and within the 100% penalty period.
This means commission will be paid 50 days before departure on standard bookings for cruises under 40 nights and 90 days before departure on standard bookings for cruises of more than 40 nights. On 20% Explorer Fare bookings, commission will be paid within 30 days of receiving final payment.
The new policy is effective immediately and will be applied retroactively to all existing qualifying standard bookings that have been paid in full within the 100% penalty period. Payments will be processed within the next 30 days. Commission on applicable Explorer Fare bookings will be made ‘in the coming months’, Crystal said.
For these bookings, agents can expect payments to be processed within the next 30 days for standard bookings and in the coming months for applicable Explorer Fare bookings.
Senior Vice President Travel Sales UK Matias Lira said: “Travel advisors are at the heart of our success, and we recognise the importance of providing them with the financial support they deserve – faster.
“By accelerating commission payments, we’re reinforcing our commitment to our partners and ensuring they can focus on what they do best: crafting unforgettable journeys for their clients.”
