Former Riverside Luxury Cruises UK boss Stuart Perl has joined river cruise specialist Scylla as International Sales Development Manager.
Stuart, who was Riverside UK & Ireland, MEA & Australia Managing Director until October 2023, has also held the roles of MD of AmaWaterways and Marketing Director at Cunard.
Most recently he joined the board of Backwaters Cruising to help with the company’s brand awareness.
Posting on LinkedIn Stuart said: “I’m particularly excited about this new challenge, as it offers a fresh perspective from the shipowner’s side, allowing me to contribute to Scylla’s vision of bringing more international guests on board.”
A statement from Scylla added: “With nearly 20 years of experience in the river cruise industry and a deep passion for travel, Stuart will play a key role in driving our international growth, focusing on English-speaking markets. His dedication, expertise, and enthusiasm for this dynamic and evolving industry will be a tremendous asset to our team.”
Scylla owns a fleet of 40 river ships that it charters to operators including Riviera Travel, Viva Cruises and Tauck.
