CroisiEurope adds new Nile cruise option

CroisiEurope is expanding its Nile cruise programme with a newly chartered ship, which starts sailing next month.

The Star of Luxor can accommodate 106 guests in 45 exterior cabins and eight suites and will sail a seven-night ‘Cruise on The Nile: The Land of the Pharaohs’ round trip from Luxor. The itinerary includes the Karnak Temple Complex, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the Temple of Kom Ombo, Aswan Dam, and an option to visit the temples of Abu Simbel.

The ship has a lounge/bar, a library and large sun deck with swimming pool and hot tub. Accommodation will be full board, with beer, wine and soft drinks during meals. There will be an Egyptologist lecturer and traditional Egyptian entertainment onboard.

The itinerary will operate between March and December 2025 and between February and December 2026.

CroisiEurope will add a four-day pre-cruise programme in Cairo, once the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo has officially opened. The museum is expected to be fully open by July 2025. The pre-cruise programme includes the pyramids at Giza, Cheops and Teti as well as entry to the museum.

Early booking fares of £1,012 per person are on offer on selected bookings made before 30 April, saving £380. Prices include excursions, port fees and repatriation insurance. The ship is also available for charter.
