Copenhagen Airport is continuing to experience delays and cancellations after closing yesterday evening following reports of drone sightings.
The airport closed at 8.26pm local time after two or three large drones were seen flying in its airspace.
According to FlightRadar, 50 flights were diverted to other airports during the closure. Flights resumed at 12.30am local time.
In an update posted on X, at 7.40am this morning, the airport said: “Due to the shutdown last night, there are unfortunately delays and cancelled flights to and from CPH during the day.”
A British Airways flight between Copenhagen and London Heathrow has been cancelled this morning.
The airport has asked passengers to check its website for the latest information on departures and arrivals.
Oslo Airport also closed for several hours overnight after drones were spotted.
The airport closed at 12am and reopened at 4.30am local time. Flights were diverted to the nearest airport, local media reports.
