Classic Collection expands long-haul programme

Classic Collection has expanded its programme in Thailand and added Cape Town to its long-haul programme.

Bangkok, Hua Hin, Koh Samui and Pattaya have been added to Phuket (pictured) in Classic’s existing Thailand programme, and 93 hotels in the country are now bookable with the operator. 

In Cape Town, the operator has 38 properties across 11 areas within the city, stretching as far as Stellenbosch to the east and Muizenburg in the south.

The new destinations can be booked on Classic’s agent-only booking portal, where Classic Flavours pre-bookable experiences and excursions for Cape Town and the expanded Thailand programme can also be booked.

Director B2B Si Morris-Green said: “We are constantly reviewing our product via feedback from our agent partners and we’re delighted to be introducing additional destinations during Peaks.

“Our new destinations are popular on the UK market and fit perfectly with our existing mix of worldwide beach options.

“Longhaul is part of our growth strategy and we have recently invested in contact centre capacity, product knowledge and business hours thanks to our partnership with Travel Solutions Network.”

Ten nights at the four-star Chaba Cabana Beach Resort & Spa, Koh Samui starts from £1,433 per person including breakfast, in October. Ten nights at the five-star Barcelo Coconut Island in Phuket starts from £1,856pp, including breakfast, in November.

Seven nights at the four-star Antrim Villa by Antrim Collection in Green Point, Cape Town starts from £1,108pp, including breakfast, in November.
