Celestyal Travel has opened its first UK retail store, in Guildford.
The store, on Guildford High Street, combines a customer-facing shop, call centre, and an agent training centre, which will host workshops, product training and networking sessions for trade partners.
Celestyal Travel has employed five agents to work in the Surrey-based store and they will report to Managing Director Janet Parton (pictured above, right).
The retail store follows the launch in July of Celestyal’s tour operator arm, which combines flights, hotels and shore excursions with its cruises around the Greek islands, the Mediterranean, Maldives and the Gulf.
Janet said: “This new store is much more than a retail outlet – it’s a hub for inspiration, education and support. Alongside welcoming customers, it gives us a dedicated space to work more closely with our agent partners, offering training and hosting events that help them feel confident in selling Celestyal Travel. Coupled with our new UK call centre, it underlines our long-term investment in the UK trade.”
Celestyal Travel is a member of Hays Travel Independence Group and has both ATOL and ABTA protection.
