A total of 17 vehicles were stolen from a cruise car park in Southampton earlier this month.
The Daily Echo reported that between 9 and 10 September thieves stole the vehicles from a unit in Millbrook, which belongs to a company called Southampton Cruise Parking Services.
It is not known which cruises passengers were on, and the company is not affiliated with any cruise lines.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Officers are investigating after a number of vehicles have been reported stolen from a cruise parking lot on First Avenue.
“It is reported that 17 vehicles were stolen between 9 and 10 September.”
On its website, Southampton Cruise Parking Services states: “We are the only parking service next to the docks that offers indoor secure parking. Giving you peace of mind your car is in safe hands whilst you enjoy your holiday.”
Travel Gossip has approached Southampton Cruise Parking Services for comment.
