Brilliant Travel has launched a spring recruitment campaign for its homeworking and Managed Service Travel Partner (MSTP) divisions.
This comes after Brilliant Travel grew its homeworking network by 60% in 2024, while also welcoming new MSTP members.
While the large majority of its home-based agents are experienced in travel, Brilliant Travel’s MSTP network is a blend of those who are new-to-travel and those with experience.
Brilliant Travel Director Linda Pyle said: “We got 2025 off to a flying start with applications arriving during peak season, indicating the market is there for people starting their own independent travel businesses.
“We’re confident that our offering is the best in the industry – with leading commission levels, a full-service support team, and the opportunity to tailor-make products through our bonding are just some of the benefits that we provide.
“Increasingly, we see that people want to make sure that they can offer bespoke products to their customers, particularly as customers are looking for more experiential and inspiring holidays. Our framework means that members and specialists can genuinely create what’s right for their clients while retaining control over their profits.”
Linda believes the market for independent travel businesses is still healthy but pointed to the fact that many are choosing to specialise.
She added: “I think it’s interesting to see the variety of expertise that we’re welcoming now. Some agents have identified really niche markets – whether that be by destination, travel style or demographic – and I think we’ll see more of that emerging with new businesses.”
