Blue Islands ends codeshare after Loganair launches new route

Blue Islands has immediately terminated its codeshare agreement with Loganair that has been in place since September 2020.

It comes after Loganair announced it will launch a daily service between Southampton and Jersey in early 2026, with flights going on sale later this year.

Blue Islands said it will honour ‘existing bookings for all customers to connect between Blue Islands and Loganair flights, and for any customer who has booked a Blue Islands flight via Loganair’.

A spokesperson said: “There is no need for any customer holding an existing booking to take action, albeit no new codeshare bookings will be possible from today.

“If a customer wishes to amend or cancel any such booking for future travel, they are able to do so by contacting the airline or travel agent through which their booking was first made.

“Blue Islands extends its grateful thanks and best wishes to team members across both airlines who have worked to deliver for our mutual customers over the five years of the co-operation.”

A Loganair spokesperson said: “We recognise how important a reliable and resilient service is between Jersey and Southampton, and we are looking forward to serving these communities with the new route, set to commence in early 2026.”
