The Best Workplaces in Travel 2026 winners have been announced, with 19 travel businesses named on this year’s hotlist.
Now in their fifth year, the awards were held last night at Grant Thornton’s London offices.
Luxury Coastal was named Best Small Company, with Holiday Architects and Global Travel Management highly commended.
Golfbreaks took the Best Mid-Size Company title, with Access Bookings and Newmarket Holidays highly commended.
Golfbreaks was among the standout performers, also winning Mid-Size awards for happiness, performance and recognition, and advocacy. Travel Nation picked up multiple small company wins, including wellbeing, advocacy and purpose.
Other winners included Holiday Architects (happiness and equity and inclusion), Global Travel Management (performance and recognition), Access Bookings (equity and inclusion), Newmarket Holidays (wellbeing and purpose), Lusso (most improved) and Ski Solutions (most improved).
Aspects Holidays and One Traveller were named best newcomers in the Small and Mid-Size categories respectively.
Insights from the evening were positive, with 86% of travel employees saying they are happy and proud to work for their organisation.
The research highlighted work-life balance, strong team culture, supportive leadership, fair pay and recognition as key priorities for employees.
Best Workplaces in Travel Co-founder Gail Kenny said: “Five years in, this is our strongest set of results yet.
“Engagement is up across the board and our employee Net Promoter Score has reached +64, the highest we’ve ever seen. What encourages me most is that the best travel employers aren’t standing still, they’re using feedback to keep getting better.
