TUI is to add a direct flight from Belfast International to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic next summer.
Departures will operate from 20 June 2026 on TUI’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, running every Saturday for four weeks.
Head of Ireland Craig Morgan said: “We are delighted to offer our customers in Northern Ireland the opportunity to experience the Dominican Republic with our new direct flights from Belfast next summer.
“This is the only direct flight available from Belfast to Dominican Republic and it will open up an exciting range of hotels and unique holiday experiences for Northern Ireland’s holidaymakers to enjoy in the Dominican Republic.”
Belfast International Airport CEO Dan Owens said: “This route is a welcome addition to the TUI network and part of our commitment to develop direct routes for travellers direct from their local airport.”
Yesterday, Travel Gossip reported that TUI is axing flights from London Gatwick to both Costa Rica and Saint Lucia from this spring and also appears to have axed its direct service from Birmingham to Orlando Melbourne from next winter.
