Bedsonline launches ‘smarter’ system to make bookings easier and quicker

Bedsonline has updated its booking system, using AI to help agents make quicker searches and manage bookings more easily.

Instead of showing a long list of hotels, Bedsonline’s AI tool prioritises results by analysing the search and suggesting more relevant options. The aim is to save time and help agents make booking decisions more efficiently by being able to identify products quicker.

“This means that searches become more intuitive, product suggestions become smarter, and the time needed to compare options is significantly reduced. As a result, agents can focus more on advising their clients and less on administrative tasks,” Bedsonline said.

A new itinerary viewer has been added to bring all booking details together in one place, rather than on different pages or sections.

The platform also allows products to be combined more easily, so agents can package accommodation, transfers, and other services together.

David Amsellem, Chief Distribution Officer of Bedsonline owner HBX Group, said: “With this new version of Bedsonline, we’re giving travel advisors smarter tools that help them save time, increase value, and deliver a better experience to their clients, taking advantage of the benefits of AI without losing the personal expertise that sets each one of them apart.

“This is the beginning of the 2026 transformation that puts intelligence at the heart of every search, every comparison, and every booking.”

Bedsonline is also introducing online check-in functionality with some hotel partners in regions including Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. This means clients will be able to complete check-in before arriving at the hotel.
