Barrhead Travel Group has snapped up the remaining shares in its Falkirk franchisee agency Greig Avinou Travel.
The deal follows the decision by founder Greig Avinou to step down to spend more time with his family, and means the agency is now fully part of the Barrhead group.
The agency is marketed and operated as Barrhead Travel Falkirk.
It was named Jet2holidays’ 2025 Independent Travel Agent of the Year and the year before was named Jet2holidays’ top-selling agent in Scotland.
Barrhead President Jacqueline Dobson said: “Greig has been a huge part of this journey, and I want to personally thank him for everything he has brought to the business.
“He has built something really special, with a fantastic team and a loyal customer base. We’re proud to be taking the business forward as part of the Barrhead Travel Group and to be continuing the approach that Greig has established.”
Barrhead said the team will be led by Head of Sales Kieran McVeigh.
