Barrhead Travel has confirmed it will host its third Assistant Managers’ conference on a Travelmarvel ship in March.
The agency will take a private charter on Travelmarvel Vega (pictured) from 13-16 March, sailing along the Rhine from Amsterdam.
The conference is supported by headline partners Travelmarvel, as well as easyJet holidays, Azamara Cruises, Virgin Voyages, Newmarket Holidays, P&O Cruises, and Cunard, who will join Barrhead Travel on the sailing.
The agency has also announced that Barrhead Travel President Jacqueline Dobson has been promoted by the Scottish Chambers of Commerce (SCC) from Director to Vice President.
In her new role, Jacqueline wants to ensure ‘the travel and tourism sector has a strong voice in conversations around economic strategy, policy development and government engagement’.
She said: “I’m honoured and proud to have been asked to become Vice President, particularly at such a pivotal time for Scotland’s businesses when the decisions by government and the policies they deliver are having such a direct impact on the very survival of businesses across the high street and beyond.”
