British Airways has extended flight cancellations from London Heathrow to Amman, Bahrain, Dubai and Tel Aviv until at least 25 October, due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Its flights to Qatar and to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia are due to resume in August, but these will be scaled back.
BA will have just one daily flight to Doha, down from double daily, when the service relaunches on 1 August, and it will also halve the frequency of its London to Riyadh service to a daily flight when it resumes on 8 August.
The airline said it is ‘keeping the situation under constant review’ and is ‘directly in touch with affected customers to offer them a range of options.’
It added: “We’ve helped thousands of customers return home, operated relief flights, and added additional capacity on key long‑haul routes. We will continue to assess and introduce further flying where possible.”
