Azamara says the UK remains a key market, following the departure of Managing Director David Duff.
David (pictured above, left) who has been with Azamara for 17 years and who became the cruise line’s MD for UK and EMEA three years ago, leaves today (Friday 12 September).
Azamara International Chief Sales Officer David Siewers (pictured above, right) will assume direct responsibility for the cruise line’s activities in the UK and EMEA markets, with immediate effect.
Azamara CEO Dondra Ritzenthaler said: “We are truly grateful for David Duff’s commitment to our business during the 17 years he has been with the brand. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to him for his significant contributions and wish him every success in his future endeavours.”

Sales Director UK & Ireland Stuart Pearce, Director of Partnerships and Trading Lee Surman and International Marketing Manager Natalie Holder will report to David Siewers, who said: “I am truly grateful for all that David Duff has established.
“With a talented local sales team and UK-based call centre, UK and EMEA remains a priority focus for Azamara Cruises as we look ahead to exciting new initiatives.”
