American Airlines is adding a summer service between New York and Edinburgh next year.
Flights between JFK and the Scottish capital will operate from 8 March until 24 October on a new Airbus A321XLR.
Tickets go on sale on 3 November.
The new route compliments American’s seasonal Edinburgh-Philadelphia service, which started in summer 2025, and which will continue next summer, from 28 March 2026.
Philadelphia flights will operate until 24 October 2026, using a Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
