Ambassador Cruise Line is again giving travel agents the chance to experience its Caribbean fly-cruise product first-hand by winning a place on an ‘Extreme Day Trip’ on board Renaissance.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the cruise line will once again fly a group of trade partners to Barcelona for an exclusive one-day visit aboard the ship.
The visit will take place on 22 September 2026, while Renaissance is in the city on a ‘Spanish Escape’ itinerary for the French market.
The trip is designed to showcase the ship and provide agents with a taste of Ambassador’s winter Caribbean programme.
Winning agents will be flown from London Luton to Barcelona and welcomed on board with a cocktail reception on the Pool Deck, followed by a ship tour, an exclusive trade presentation and a Caribbean-themed lunch in the Louchebem restaurant.
There will be time to explore the ship’s public areas, lounges and entertainment venues, giving agents an insight into what customers can expect during Renaissance’s second Caribbean fly-cruise season, which runs from October 2026 to March 2027.
Ambassador’s Caribbean programme features direct Virgin Atlantic charter flights to Barbados from London Heathrow and Manchester, with Upper Class, Premium, Economy Delight and Economy Classic options.
Ambassador Cruise Line Deputy Head of Trade Karen Cameron said: “There’s nothing quite like stepping on board our ships to really understand what makes the Ambassador product so special.
“As we prepare to launch our second Caribbean fly-cruise season aboard Renaissance, we are delighted to offer some of our valued agent partners the chance to experience her for themselves and get a real taste of what’s on offer.
“This Extreme Day Trip is a fast-paced and exciting way to discover the authentic, affordable and easy-going experience that defines sailing with Ambassador. We had so much fun last year that we simply had to do it again and are really looking forward to welcoming our lucky winners on board Renaissance in Barcelona on 22 September.”
To enter, agents must make a booking on any Ambassador fly-cruise or no-fly ex-UK sailing between 18 and 30 July 2026 and email their name, agency name, ABTA number and proof of booking to [email protected] by 4.30pm on 30 July.
All eligible entries will be entered into a prize draw, with winners announced on 4 August.
Ambassador will cover flights and overseas transfers, although agents must arrange and pay for their own transport to and from London Luton Airport, including parking costs.
Agents who took part in last year’s Extreme Day Trip are not eligible to enter.
