Alaska Airlines has appointed sales representation company Discover the World to fulfil its trade engagement, agency relationships and commercial development in the UK.
The appointment comes as the airline prepares to expand into Europe, with the launch of its first UK route, between Seattle and London Heathrow, starting on 22 May 2026.
Flights for the daily, year-round service went on sale in December.
The appointment with Discover the World extends to Europe, as the airline is also launching seasonal flights from Seattle to Rome from 29 April and to Reykjavik from 29 May.
Discover the World Global Head of Business Development Aiden Walsh said: “This partnership marks an exciting opportunity to introduce Alaska Airlines’ high-quality service to European travellers and trade partners.
“By leveraging our established relationships and commercial expertise, we aim to enhance the airline’s visibility, support new bookings, and contribute to their expansion strategy in Europe.”
Alaska Airlines Managing Director of Partnerships and International Alex Judson said: “Europe is an important and growing market for Alaska Airlines, and Discover the World brings invaluable local expertise and regional insight as we expand.
“Together with Discover the World, we will strengthen relationships across the leisure and corporate travel landscape and elevate awareness of Alaska Airlines as a strong, competitive option for European travellers.”
