AITO welcomes five new members

Five companies – Steppes Travel, Premier Holidays, Golf Holidays by Morgan, Odyssey World and Mabey Ski – have joined AITO.

Executive Director of AITO Martyn Sumners said the new additions are a ‘positive reflection of the strength and importance of the specialist travel sector and the continued value businesses place on expertise, trust and collaboration’.

Martyn added: “As the travel landscape becomes increasingly complex, bringing together businesses with different specialisms creates opportunities to share knowledge, address common challenges and raise standards across the industry. The calibre and diversity of these new members also reflects our focus on building a membership that represents the breadth of specialist travel today. That collective expertise ultimately benefits both our members and the customers they serve.”

Golf Holidays by Morgan owner Morgan Clarke described AITO as ‘the most relevant trade association for a specialist independent tour operator’.

Morgan said: “The advice and support provided during the recent Iran crisis was particularly valuable and the regular events and networking opportunities are designed specifically for SME tour operators.

“We are also joining the AITO Financial Protection Scheme, which offers a straightforward and efficient solution that aligns well with the needs of our business.”

Odyssey World Managing Director Felicia Severns said: “Being part of a network that encourages the sharing of knowledge, experience and best practice is increasingly valuable and we’re looking forward to contributing to those conversations.”

AITO is recruiting three members of staff after Head of Industry Affairs Christina Brazier and Head of Membership Emma Taylor decided to leave to pursue new opportunities.
