The fourth AITO Agents’ Famference will be held in Gibraltar in June.
The association’s Specialist Travel Agents’ Chair Gemma Antrobus said the response among members had been ‘amazing’ and the Famference sold out within 24 hours.
Gemma said: “Building on the immense success of our previous events in Malta, Tenerife and the Algarve, we are thrilled to announce our fourth AITO Specialist Travel Agents’ Famference.
“I’m delighted to see our incredible agents and operators so enthusiastic about this event. With the countdown now underway for our visit to Gibraltar, plans for exploring and networking are in full swing. We are confident that our members will gain a truly unique insight into Gibraltar – unlike anything seen before. I can’t wait.”
Gibraltar Minister for Tourism Christian Santos said: “This is a great opportunity for frontline travel agents and tour operators to experience Gibraltar’s extensive tourist options in person. We have arranged a selection of activities and experiences, which I am confident will impress our visitors.”
The Famference takes place from 5-8 June. Sixteen agents have signed up and AITO is looking at the possibility of adding more places due to popularity. AITO said accommodation is still being finalised.
