Airport hotel where The Traitors really stay is ‘very nice’, says Jonathan Ross

The Courtyard by Marriott hotel at Inverness Airport has been revealed as the place where The Traitors contestants actually sleep during the filming of the hit TV game show.

The official The Traitors HQ account revealed the information in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.

The hotel is 15 to 20 miles from The Traitors Castle (Ardross Castle, IRL), where they are filmed hanging out during the day and where banishments take place at the round table in the evenings.

At the end of the day, contestants are filmed getting into a fleet of black 4x4s, which take them back to the hotel, 30 to 40 minutes’ drive away.

Chat show host Jonathan Ross, who appeared on last year’s Celebrity version of The Traitors, responded to the X post, saying: “It’s a very nice hotel and the food is good. No complaints.”

The 130-room hotel has a 4.3/5 ‘very good’ rating on TripAdvisor, based on 250 customer reviews.

However, the £55 a night Courtyard by Hilton is a far cry from the opulent surroundings of the castle, where ‘Faithful’ contestants are occasionally filmed snuggling into plush beds at night, waiting to find out if they’ve been ‘murdered’ by the Traitors.

The finale of Season 4 of The Traitors airs this evening on BBC One at 8.30pm. Who will win, Traitors or Faithfuls?
