Business class-only airline beOnd has gone on sale with new flights from London Heathrow to the Malé International Airport in the Maldives, starting on 16 December 2026.

Three weekly services are planned, flying overnight and incorporating a 45-minute refuelling stop in Dubai. Flights will take off on a Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, with a midday departure from London and a 06.30 touch down in Malé.

BeOnd will also launch a three times a week services between Paris and Malé and this will be in addition to its current European routes linking the Maldives to Munich, Zurich and Milan.

The Maldivian-owned carrier, which launched in 2023, bills itself as the ‘first pure luxury airline’ operating two aircraft, an Airbus A321 and an Airbus A319.

Both planes have been reconfigured with  lie-flat business class seats across the entire plane. The larger of the two, the Airbus A321, has 68 seats, while the other has 44. Seats are said to be designed by Ferrari, along with Italian leather fittings.

The premium service sees passengers provided with noise-cancelling headphones and Apple iPad Pro tablets instead of the traditional embedded screens for in-flight entertainment.

Premium fares include a private chauffeur pick-up service.

The new flights are subject to government approval.
