German airline Lufthansa has been forced to cancel more flights today and tomorrow after the union representing its cabin crew called a two-day strike.
The strike, which began this morning (Wednesday), affects Lufthansa departures from Frankfurt and Munich.
It is likely to lead to the grounding of hundreds of flights over the next two days for the beleaguered airline.
According to Flightradar24, all Lufthansa’s departures from Frankfurt and Munich today have been cancelled.
Lufthansa cabin crew had previously walked out last Friday, causing the cancellation of around 600 flights.
Lufthansa is also dealing with an ongoing pilot dispute, which led to strikes on Monday and Tuesday this week, leading to the grounding of hundreds of flights and disruption for thousands of passengers.
