Agents can now sell wedding packages in Italy through Specialist Holidays Group (SHG) brand Citalia, Travel Gossip can reveal.
The Italy specialist operator has partnered with Sorrento-based wedding planning company That’s Amore Weddings, which will work directly with clients to plan and personalise their wedding day.
The ‘Weddings in Italy’ collection launches initially in Sorrento, where customers can marry in the Cloisters of San Francesco.
The core ceremony package includes the Cloisters venue, wedding officiant, legal certificates, bridal bouquet and groom’s buttonhole, live music, ceremony set-up and dedicated wedding planner support.
Clients will also have access to Citalia’s in-resort concierge service, giving them a point of contact on the ground during their wedding.
Citalia can also arrange the wider trip, including flights, accommodation, transfers and the honeymoon.
SHG Director of Trade Partnerships Jorge Quibell said: “It feels like a natural extension for Citalia and gives us something genuinely new to talk about, particularly with Italy already being such an iconic destination for romance and weddings.”
